1. Booking & Payment
All bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed only once a deposit has been received. The remaining balance is due on or before the day of delivery.
- A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure your booking date.
- Full payment must be received before or on the day of setup.
- We accept bank transfer, cash, and Revolut.
2. Cancellations & Refunds
We understand plans change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:
- 14+ days before hire date: Deposit can be transferred to a new date (subject to availability).
- 7-13 days before hire date: 50% of deposit may be transferred to a new date.
- Less than 7 days: No refund or transfer on the deposit.
- Weather: If we determine conditions are unsafe for setup (e.g. high winds for inflatables/marquees), we will offer a full reschedule or refund.
3. Delivery & Setup
Rent-A-Tub handles all delivery, setup, and collection. The hirer must ensure:
- Adequate access to the setup location for our delivery vehicle.
- A flat, level surface suitable for the hired equipment.
- For hot tubs: access to a live running water source (outdoor tap or garden hose) and a standard electrical outlet within reach.
- For inflatables: a clear area free from sharp objects, overhead cables, and fences within the recommended safety zone.
- For marquees: permission from the landowner/venue if applicable.
4. Hire Period
- Hot tubs: Standard hire is setup on day one, use on day two, collection on day three. Extra days can be added for an additional fee.
- Inflatables: Day hire (typically 9am-6pm) or 2-day hire as agreed at booking.
- Marquees: 2-day hire (delivery and collection scheduled with you) unless otherwise agreed.
Late returns or requests to extend must be agreed in advance and may incur additional charges.
5. Care of Equipment
All equipment remains the property of Rent-A-Tub. The hirer is responsible for:
- Reasonable care of all hired equipment during the hire period.
- Ensuring equipment is not misused, modified, or moved from the agreed setup location.
- Supervising children at all times when using inflatables.
- Not using glass, sharp objects, or shoes in or around hot tubs and inflatables.
The hirer is liable for any damage, loss, or theft of equipment during the hire period. Repair or replacement costs will be charged accordingly.
6. Safety
- A safety briefing is provided at every setup. The hirer must follow all instructions given.
- Children under 16 must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
- Hot tubs should not be used by anyone under the influence of alcohol to the point of impairment, or by anyone with certain medical conditions (heart conditions, pregnancy) without medical advice.
- Maximum occupancy limits must be observed for all equipment.
7. Liability
- The hirer assumes responsibility for the safety of all guests using the equipment during the hire period.
- Rent-A-Tub is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from misuse of equipment or failure to follow safety instructions.
- The hirer is responsible for obtaining any necessary permissions from landlords, venues, or local authorities.
8. Weather & Force Majeure
If extreme weather or circumstances beyond our control prevent safe delivery or use of equipment, we will contact you to reschedule or offer a full refund. Safety always comes first.
9. Privacy
Any personal information collected during booking is used solely for the purpose of fulfilling your hire. We do not share your data with third parties. Photos taken at events may be used on our social media with your permission.
